Slovenia makes slow but steady progress in cohesion funds absorption
SLOVENIA, October 16 - Slovenia has fast-forwarded absorption of EU funds, according to the data published yesterday by the European Commission. The country has moved up 11 places in criterion ‘’funds decided’’, i.e. financial resources allocated to selected projects (project pipeline). ‘’This shows that we prepared well-thought-out measures to improve absorption back at the start of the year. We will leave no stone unturned to achieve our goal,’’ said Minister for Cohesion and Regional Development Dr Aleksander Jevšek on this occasion.
